Bay Control Card 2, [Part number 9109-017-001-SA] may fail when installed in a peripheral cabinet with either an EL or ICP controller.
A manufacturing issue on a limited number of BCC2 cards will cause the peripheral cards to fail on initial install. The symptoms may include ONS sets not receiving dial tone. This will be more evident on cabinets with ONS cards in adjacent slots. Not all ONS cards will show these symptoms.
DNIC sets may not establish synchronization to the DNIC line card. Both of these cards will show installed in form 1.
This will ONLY affect BCC2 cards ending in part number 001-SA. Serial numbers may be in the range of AABEX3168- AABEX3183 but this is not a reliable identification of a suspect card.
Only cards exhibiting the above mentioned symptoms should be considered suspect and should be brought to the attention of Mitel Product Support for confirmation. |
