To enable the second port on a IP set to function as ethernet access for a PC, both COS and system options must be configured correctly.
System option 131 [PC 2nd port on IP Phone]must be purchased and enabled in MOSS before adding to form 4.
COS option 280, [[PC 2nd port on IP Phone] will be required for any IP Set that will have a PC connected.
If your device is using DHCP, and gets an address but then cannot ping any device, it is likely that option 280 is missing. |
