Article Title
Dial -By-Name fails if more than 6 digits are dialed
Publish Date
Aug-25-2005

Body/Solutions
When reaching the Auto Attendant of the Embedded voicemail, you can dial 9 to get to the Dial-By-Name feature.
You are prompted by a message that tells you to "Enter up to 6 digits of the persons Last name", (or First Name if programmed to do so).
If you dial 6 or less digits, a match should be found for the digits dialed. If you dial more then 6 digits, then you will not reach the person you intended to reach. After the 6th digit, it starts to look for a new entry starting with the new digit dialed after the 6th digit.
