Article Title
Firmware on Dnic sets should be upgraded when used on the 200 ICP
Publish Date
Oct-23-2005

Body/Solutions
The 200 ICP MX has 2 dnic ports available on the Onboard ASU (Slot 13) If they are not being used, they should be deleted in CDE. If they are being used, they should have the firmware upgraded in the sets. If the system has per bays with dnic sets on them, the firmware should also be upgraded on them. To check the firmware revisions on the sets, log into maintenance and go to SYSTEM > MORE_KEYS > SET_FIRMWARE >STATUS > ALL. To upgrade the firmware, chose DOWNLOAD, then you have choices on how to proceed, either one phone at a time, etc.
If they are not being used, or are running with old firmware, they fill up the log file with logs. The 200 ICP runs better when the dnic sets are running with the latest firmware.
