How to default Guest Login Greeting for MEM and EMEM
Publish Date
Dec-9-2004

Description/Symptoms
The Mitel Express Messenger (MEM) and the SX-200 ICP's internal voice mail application allow a guest login greeting to be recorded. This greeting is played each time a guest mailbox user calls voice mail directly. The greeting may be altered, but cannot be deleted via normal programming methods -- i.e., Express Manager for MEM or MTCE/CDE for the SX-200 ICP. To clear the greeting and have the system default greeting play, follow the instructions for the particular system on which you are working.
