forms 49 and 50.
- The default database comes with all 24 voicemail ports programmed in form 9. They are not included in the Device count, so they will not prevent you from programming additional devices. This is done intentionally because as additional DSP's are added to the system, the ports become active. Check the DSP Configuration Options chart in the Technician's Handbook and /or other areas of documentation for the relationship between the number of DSP's and the number of voicemail ports to determine how many voice mail ports you have.
- If only 4 voicemail ports are active, the 4th port is used for Paging Notification.
- If a quad DSP has been added to the system, this allows for 24 voicemail ports if Business 1 or Business 2 is selected in form 4. "Outdialing" for paging notification chooses the 20th port for outdialing. Make sure this port has not been assigned as a RAD, because the SX-200 ICP does not allow RAD's to make calls (they only receive calls).
- Paging Notification will not happen if you leave a message for yourself. If you only have one phone in the phone room with you and you are testing Paging Notification by dialing yourself and leaving a message, the Notification will not happen. You need to call the phone that has Paging Notification programmed on it from a different extension.
