Article Title
Making changes in form 53 can cause other conversations to be heard
Publish Date
Apr-25-2005

Body/Solutions
If a 200 ICP is programmed with Music On Hold and changes are made in form 53, the music channels are removed from the bays. The side affect of this is that while people are on hold, they may hear one side of a conversation.
A software load will be available shortly to address this issue, but in the meantime, if the system has MOH programmed in form 18 and/or form 19, deleting the programming for MOH, exiting the form, and re-adding it will correct the situation.

To tell if the MOH channels are assigned to the bays properly, log into Maintenance and go to Reports>Show>Channel_Map and chose a working bay and you should see at least one of the channels assigned as Music.

Until the new software is available, any time you make a change in form 53 and the system is programmed with MOH, you delete and re-add the MOH programming to get the Music channels properly assigned again.

If no Music On Hold is programmed in the system, then there should be no channels assigned to Music.
